When to Seek Emergency Dental Care
Knowing when to call for emergency dental treatment can sometimes be confusing. Here's a simple rule: if you're in pain, it's an emergency. Other signs that you need urgent dental care include:
- A cracked or broken tooth (especially if it hurts)
- A severe toothache that doesn't improve with over-the-counter pain medicine
- A tooth that has been knocked loose or completely out
Swelling in your face, jaw, or around a tooth
- Signs of infection, like fever and pain
If you experience any of these symptoms, call us right away at (806) 665-0921.
